HOTELS IN CLARK, PAMPANGA: Royce Hotel and Casino (Hotel Review)

If you've been wanting to have a quick weekend getaway with your family, friends, or special someone, why not travel to Clark, Pampanga? With its numerous hotels to stay in and activities to enjoy, Clark Freeport is one of the best places if you want to have a quick vacation, just an hour away north of Metro Manila.

When in Clark, you must check out one of biggest hotels in the Clark Freeport Zone area, Royce Hotel and C asino. It is a 150-room hotel offering spacious and well-appointed guest rooms and suites. As a "new integrated entertainment destination" set in a huge property inside Clark Freeport Zone, its convenient and strategic location is near Clark International Airport and offers easy access to the city's must-see attractions making it an ideal hotel for business and leisure travelers.

Just recently, we were in Clark, Pampanga and we got to stay at Royce Hotel and Casin o (Check rates online). Upon arrival at the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff and greeted us with a sweet smile. When we entered the hotel lobby, I was instantly impressed by the hotel's elegant interiors. From this moment alone, I could really feel that this is a first-class hotel and we are m up for a lovely stay.

We then proceeded to the reception area to check-in. Since we already have prior reservation, checking-in was fast. It only took us about 5 minutes and we were given the keycards to our room. We were then ushered by their friendly staff to our room located at the 4th floor.

Deluxe King Room

Our room is a spacious Deluxe King Room (Check rates online) which features modern and luxurious interiors. Their up-scale and classy accommodation is evident in their rooms which are clean, organized and has modern furnishings. The room is characterized with shades of white and earth tone colors which create a relaxing and calming ambiance.

It is well-appointed with modern comforts such as a king-size bed with 5-star hotel quality mattress, fluffy pillows and thick comforter; an en suite toilet and bath and a small sitting area beside the window where you could see the stunning views of the mountains. It is also equipped with all the much-needed essentials for a comfortable stay. It has as an LCD television set with local and international cable channels, a work desk, an air-conditioning unit, telephone, in-room safe, cabinet, mini bar, refrigerator, and complimentary coffee & tea making facilities.

As I checked on the toilet and bath, it is quite impressive. It is clean, spacious and has all the much-needed amenities such as a clean water closet with bidet spray, a sink with mirrors, hanging area, and an enclosed shower area with hot and cold shower.

Complimentary toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, vanity and dental care kits as well as clean bath and hand towels were all provided. What else can I ask for? Every guest will surely enjoy their stay at Royce Hotel Clark.

WIFI Internet Connection

Complimentary WIFI internet connection is available in the hotel. Connection is fast and reliable but gets a bit weak inside our room which is located at the far end of the hallway. But it's okay, 3G connection is fast in the area so there won't be a problem. So, if you’re someone who loves to be online most of the time to post in social media or needs to connect to the internet for work, request a room that is not located at the far end of the hallway to enjoy the hotel's free internet access.

Restaurants

Royce Hotel has 3 dining outlets. The Lounge which is a café-bistro that serves an array of Filipino and International dishes. Another dining option is Amare by Chef Cris offering dishes that carry the essence of Italian cooking, seasoned by the flavors of the world. And lastly, Empire Bar and Lounge located inside the c asino area which guests could indulge on various local and international dishes while enjoying the night. This is also the best place to lounge, have some bottles of beer or your favorite cocktail while enjoying the live performances from local bands and singers.

Breakfast Buffet

Complimentary buffet breakfast that comes with every booking at Royce Hotel is served at The Lounge from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The selection of dishes at the breakfast spread is quite good. The variety of tastefully-selected dishes available are so inviting. There are breads, soup, salad, cereals, omelettes, bacon, sausages, fresh fruits, congee, dimsums and other delectable and flavorsome international and Filipino dishes. Hot coffee, hot chocolate, tea and a selection fresh fruit juices are also available at the buffet table.

The dishes vary each day, so even if you're staying for more than 1 night (just like us), you won't get bored with their breakfast buffet because there's always something new to look forward to every morning. The food were awesome and we were satisfied in every breakfast we had.

Function Rooms and Ballroom

Royce Hotel also sets as an ideal venue for any event. They have function rooms, meeting rooms and a huge ballroom outfitted with audiovisual and sound equipment to accommodate your communication and event needs. Their function rooms and ballroom are ideal venues for any corporate and social events such as conventions, seminars, wedding receptions, debut, among many others.
