HOTEL REVIEW: Jinjiang Inn Makati, "A Lovely Business Boutique Hotel in Makati City"

Whenever my friends and readers from the provinces or abroad ask me where is the best place to stay in Metro Manila for their business or leisure trips, I always suggest Makati City. Centrally located, it is near Ninoy Aquino International Airport terminals, a vast array of commercial and entertainment establishments, shopping malls, restaurants, and a lot of destinations to make your stay in the city truly memorable. That is why, I always look forward to staying for a couple of nights in one of the many hotels in Makati.

Just recently, we were invited by Jinjiang Inn Makati for a 3 days/2 nights stay. Conveniently located along Arnaiz Avenue, it is just a 2-minute walk to the bustling Greenbelt Commercial Center, making it an ideal place to stay for your business and leisure travels in the city.

Upon arrival at the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by their hotel staff, greeted us with a warm smile and assisted us with our booking. She then asked for our identification cards for verification and then requested us to fill out the registration form. Checking-in was fast and efficient; it only took about 5 minutes and we were given the key cards to our room.

Deluxe Suite

Our room is a spacious 94.5 square meters Deluxe Suite. I was at awe when we entered our room. It's huge! It has spacious living and dining areas, a lovely bedroom, and a luxurious en suite toilet and bath. The room has minimalist yet modern interiors which gives very homey and uncluttered feel, which I like!

The living room has a comfy sofa, a center table, telephone, an air-conditioning unit, a full size mirror, and a television set. It also has a small dining area where guests could enjoy their meals or just to have coffee while reading the daily newspaper.

As I checked on the bedroom, I am quite impressed! It's very spacious, and everything were organized and well-kept. It has an array of essential amenities that are needed for a comfortable stay! It has top-of-the-line King size bed that is so soft and comfy! It is complemented with a smooth cotton bed linen, quality pillows and a thick comforter. I tried it right away and I felt like I was melting into the bed as I lay my back on it. Very comfortable and relaxing!

The room feels airy and very comfortable because of its size. I am happy with the much needed amenities and facilities equipped inside the room; such as an individually-controlled air-conditioning unit, IDD/NDD telephone, alarm clock, a cabinet, 47-inch LCD television set with cable channels, work desk, an electronic safety deposit box, and a mini bar with coffee & tea making equipment and a refrigerator filled with drinks and complimentary drinking water.

As I sneaked into the toilet and bath, I was impressed even more! It's a luxurious bathroom that is so clean, spacious, well-lit, and organized. It has a lovely bathtub, a walk-in shower area with rainshower and hot & cold water features, a "his and hers" sink with a huge mirror and a clean water closet with bidet spray.

The toilet and bath is also complete with quality toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, bath soap and dental & vanity care kits. Clean and soft hand and body towels as well as bath robes were also provided. What else can I ask for? It's quite impressive!

With all these much-needed amenities, sleek and minimalist touch of interiors, it will surely give you all that you need to find comfort in a hotel room.

Choi Garden Restaurant

Jinjiang Inn Makati also has an in-house restaurant located at the ground floor which serves an array of Chinese and international dishes. The buffet breakfast that comes with every booking at the hotel is served at The Choi Garden from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The selection of dishes at the buffet table are just fine and enough to give us some energy boost in the morning.
