HOTEL REVIEW: Patio Pacific Boracay, "An Ideal Place to Stay on Boracay Island"

For us, summer 2017 started the moment the month of March kicked in. Few weeks ago, we were back in Boracay through the invitation of Patio Pacific Boracay and Island Star Express. Coming from Kalibo Airport, we had a comfortable transfer from the airport to our hotel in Boracay via Island Star Express’ awesome airport transport service.

Patio Pacific Boracay is our home for 4 days in the world famous island of Boracay! As one of the first hotels in the island of Boracay, they started as a small 8-room hotel in 1990 named as Pink Patio. Today, because of its success, it is now considered as one of the premier resort-hotels on Boracay island.

Patio Pacific Boracay

A triple AAA-rated resort strategically located at Station 1 and built conveniently near other establishments, Patio Pacific Boracay is just a 5 minutes’ walk to the pristine Boracay white beach. If you are looking for a hotel that has a best spot and is near the bay walk, then you should consider Patio Pacific Boracay. The resort is non-beachfront but it is near the beach and only a few more blocks to D’Mall where you can find various restaurants and food kiosks to choose from and shops to enjoy. Because of its convenient location, it became a popular choice both for the local and foreign tourists who want to enjoy the beauty of the island.

Patio Pacific Boracay is also known for its superb accommodation. Staff are all approachable and genuinely hospitable - making you feel like you’re at home as always. Service is fast and reliable which makes them loved by the guest most. Room interiors and designs are relaxing and cozy which makes it perfect for a dream island vacation.

Deluxe Room

Our room is a lovely Deluxe Room (See room rates) with one queen-size bed and one single bed. It smells fresh, clean and well-organized with top-notch amenities designed for business and leisure travelers.

It is professionally-designed with blends of modern decors and features all the essential amenities needed for a comfortable stay. It is equipped with an individually-controlled air-conditioning unit, an en suite toilet and bath with bath tub, flat-screen television set with cable channels, luggage rack, safety deposit box, hanging area, telephone, and a mini bar with a personal refrigerator filled with complimentary drinking water and a coffee and tea making facility with complimentary coffee and tea.

The toilet and bath is also nice, clean and well-maintained. It has hot and cold shower and a clean water closet (unfortunately, no bidet spray) and a bath tub. Basic toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, lotion, vanity and dental care kits and clean bath towels and bath robes were also provided. I couldn't ask for more! I am so happy with all these much-needed room amenities provided for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

Patio Pacific Boracay has 65 well-appointed guestrooms and suites. You can choose from 41 Deluxe Rooms, 17 Premier Deluxe, 5 Family Rooms and 2 Suites depending on your budget and preference. Rooms are designed with modern sensibilities and relaxing atmosphere for your comfort.

Buffet Breakfast

Every booking comes with a complimentary breakfast buffet at their in-house restaurant. During breakfast, we were treated with a wide spread of local and international dishes served daily from 6:00 - 10:00 AM. We were so happy with their buffet breakfast as there are different meat, fish and vegetables dishes to choose from. There's also a salad bar, a cheese section, an egg station and a variety of pastries and fresh fruits for desserts.

The menu changes each day, so even if you're staying for more than 1 night, you won't get bored with their buffet breakfast because there are always something new to looking forward to each day. The food were good and satisfying! A good way to perk up our day!

Amenities and Facilities

Patio Pacific Boracay can assist guests with an extensive range of services including reservation assistance for airline and airport transfers, outdoor activities such as Boracay island tours and water sports, foreign exchange, safety deposit boxes and laundry services. The front desk is open 24 hours to answer your calls and requests. What I like about them is the quick response and service even if it's 3am in the morning.

They will also ensure your safety. The resort has employees trained specifically for lifeguarding and search & rescue operations roaming around the area. It is also equipped with 32 CCTV monitoring cameras 24/7 for guests’ security.

Patio Pacific Boracay also boasts its facilities such as well-equipped fitness gym for the health conscious travelers, huge outdoor swimming pool with Jacuzzi that is best for relaxation and the only resort in Boracay with wall-climbing facility at the Alpha Fitness Center.

Speaking of facilities, Patio Pacific is also an ideal venue for corporate meetings, sales conventions, out-of-town training programs, weddings, birthdays, team-building and any other private events or parties that you can think of. They also have a conference room that can accommodate up to 150 guests.

Internet Connection

Complimentary WiFi internet connection is available anywhere in the resort. Connection is decent and reliable. For someone who needs to be online whether for work or just to post in their social media accounts, the free WiFi internet access is really an awesome treat!

Overall, we had a comfortable and memorable stay at Patio Pacific Boracay. It is an ideal resort in Boracay for couples, families and group of friends wanting to have an awesome Boracay getaway! Highly recommended!
