HOTELS IN NUVALI: Seda Hotel Nuvali Review

What makes Seda Nuvali a great staycation destination? Let me share to you our recent stay at Seda Hotel Nuvali.

Nuvali is an eco-community in Sta. Rosa City, Laguna. In recent years, it has been a favorite destination among weekenders and city dwellers because of its proximity from metropolis. Just an hour away south of Metro Manila, Nuvali offers an array of fun and exciting activities making it an ideal destination to visit with your families, friends and special someone.

To fully enjoy Nuvali's amazing leisure and recreational facilities, staying for a night or two is highly recommended. And there is no better way to spend a night in Nuvali than to stay at Seda Hotel. Set right at the developed part of Nuvali, Seda blends perfectly with the natural landscapes giving its guests a serene, resort-like experience.

Just recently, we were invited by Seda Nuvali for an awesome weekend staycation. A much-needed vacation away from the chaos of the city for us.

Upon arrival at Seda Nuvali, we were hospitably welcome by the hotel staff and greeted us with warm smiles. I was instantly impressed with its fresh and clean interiors. The lobby is spacious and makes good use of huge glass windows from both sides which let's the natural light in. Not to be missed are the works of local artists such as Ann Pamintuan's lovely furniture and Paco Guerrero's photos. From this moment, I already felt that this is a first-class hotel with its cozy and exquisitely styled interiors.

We then proceeded to the reception area where we were warmly welcomed by the hotel staff. Checking-in was fast and efficient. Since we already have a reservation, we just needed to register - and after about 5 minutes, we're done with checking-in.

Club Room

Our room is a spacious Deluxe Room with Club Lounge access. The room features modern and classy interiors with top-notch amenities designed for business and leisure travelers. The room's earth tone shades of brown, gray, and white give a very calming and relaxing feel. Upon entering our room, I could smell its freshness and cleanliness. It is well-kept and organized. I loved it!

It is highlighted with a king size bed that is complemented well with clean white sheet, fluffy pillows, and soft duvet. I quickly tried it and I felt like I was melting in the bed.

Other essential room amenities in the room include an en suite toilet and bath, cabinets, safety deposit box, work desk, luggage rack, a 40-inch LED HDTV with cable channels, media panel with HDMI, USB and audio-visual connectivity, IDD phone with iPod dock, alarm clock, voice mail and radio, and a mini bar with coffee and tea making facilities.

And oh, these treats are really such a sweet welcome! Thank you po... :)

At one side of the room is a huge sitting area by the window with an amazing view of the lake. This is where we spent most of our time just enjoying the lovely views of the lush greens, the surrounding mountains, and the lake while sipping a good cup of coffee.

The en suite toilet and bath is also spacious, clean, and well-kept. It has a shower enclosure with hot and cold shower, a clean water closet with bidet spray, and a sink with huge mirror.


Complete toiletries and bathrooms amenities such as shamppoo, conditioner, bath soap, body lotion, vanity and dental care kits were provided. For guests convenience, hair dryer, soft body and hand towels were also provided. What else can I ask for? Perhaps, a bath tub? Some rooms have bathtub, but not all.

Seda Nuvali's Club Lounge

For bookings with Club Lounge access, an array of exclusive privileges await for guests at the Club Lounge located at the 9th floor. Here, guests are accorded with extra personalized service and some perks. Club Lounge benefits include daily Continental breakfast, all-day refreshments and cocktails, iMac stations, work tables, reading materials, a wide-screen LED HDTV with cable channels and secretarial assistance.

Afternoon tea is at 3:00 to 5:00 PM where guests could enjoy a variety of snacks and refreshments. Cocktails is at 5:00 to 7:00 PM where guests could enjoy free-flowing beers, wines, and other alcoholic drinks.

Misto Restaurant

Misto is Seda Nuvali's all-day dining restaurant serving international cuisines and local favorites. This is where we had our breakfast buffet, and ala carte lunch and dinner. The restaurant is so lovely and posh! Add to that, it affords an awesome view of the hotel's swimming pool and the lake! Yey!

Every booking comes with a complimentary buffet breakfast served at Misto from 6:00 am to 10:00 am. The buffet breakfast is composed of a wide array of delicious and mouthwatering local and international dishes. There's also a variety of breads, pastries, cereals, congee, soups, and fresh fruits for desserts. More to that, there's an omelette section where you could request how your omelette should be done. Hot coffee, hot choco, tea, and a selection of fruit juices are also available.

The selection of dishes at the breakfast spread was so impressive! The variety of tastefully selected dishes available will surely satify your cravings. Overall, we had a very satisfying breakfast during our stay.

For lunch, we got to try Seda Nuvali's Executive Lunch Set. It is composed of a four-course set menu which includes a soup, salad, main entree, dessert and one round of iced tea. The chef's special change daily and feature seasonal ingredients regularly. It is available during weekdays (July 17 to October 31, 2017) from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm at Misto Restaurant for Php 499 nett.

For dinner, we had their Bento Box Dinner which is composed of a selection of food items in a bento box featuring Japanese culinary artistry. It is also available only during weekdays (July 17 to October 31, 2017) from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm for Php 550 nett at Misto.

Facilities and Amenities

An array of exciting amenities and facilities await every guest at Seda Nuvali. They have a lovely outdoor swimming pool, a spa, and a fitness gym that is free to use for every checked-in guests. For kids and teens, there's a play area and a gaming room, where they can play at the play pen or enjoy some video games. These facilities will certainly keep the kids busy and entertained.

Function Rooms

Seda hotel's functions rooms are located at the 2nd floor. They have several functions rooms ideal as a venue for private, corporate and other social events such as wedding receptions, birthdays, meetings, seminars, and conventions. Complete with audio visual facilities, it can accommodate small to big groups. So, whether you are presenting to your largest client, holding off-site company meetings, or celebrating an important occasion, Seda Nuvali's function rooms are the ideal venue for your events.

WIFI Internet Connection

WIFI internet connection is available anywhere in the hotel. Connection is fast, reliable and the best thing is - it's free! There are also some computers at the lobby that are free-to-use for all the guests.

You may check room availability and updated room rates at their website at www.sedahotels.com/nuvali. Standard check-in time is at 2:00 PM and check-out time is 12:00 noon. Children 12 years old and below can stay in the room at no extra cost (without extra bed). Maximum number of children allowed to stay for free depends on the room type booked.

Overall, we had a relaxing and memorable stay! Seda Nuvali's superb accommodation, excellent customer service and first-rate facilities and amenities will certainly take every guest into a totally first-class accommodation experience. If you're looking for a destination that's away from the hustle and bustle of Metro Manila but near enough to drive to, I highly recommend Seda Nuvali.
