Just last week, we had a complimentary 2-night stay at Somerset Millennium Makati for a much-needed "staycation" in the Metro. After all the stress, sleepless nights, and worrying I've experienced in the past weeks, I certainly deserve this much-needed "staycation."

Somerset Millennium Makati is conveniently located along Aguirre St. in Legazpi Village, at the heart of the Makati Central Business District. What I love most is that it is just a few strides away from the city's business, commercial and entertainment hubs. Shopping malls, restaurants, convenient stores and fast food chains are also just around the corner. Whether you're in the city for business or leisure, Somerset Millennium Makati is an ideal choice to stay in Makati City.

Studio Deluxe

Our booked unit is a spacious Studio Deluxe with a floor area of 36 sqm. It is a 1-bedroom unit with an equipped kitchenette, dining area, living room with enough leisure space to lounge and relax, and a spacious en suite toilet and bath.

The bedroom is highlighted with a king-size bed; complemented with clean white sheets, thick comforter and fluffy pillows. It also has a small bed table at one side, a silent and individually-controlled air-conditioning unit, telephone unit, a work desk, cabinet, safety deposit box, luggage rack, and a television set with cable channels.

One of the best spaces in the unit is the toilet and bath. It is clean, well-lit, and organized. It has a clean water closet, a sink with mirror, a bath tub, and a walk-in shower area with hot and cold shower feature. Unfortunately, there's no bidet spray.

Toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, vanity and dental care kits were provided. Clean bath and hand towels were also provided for guests' comfort and convenience.

Complimentary WiFi internet access, daily housekeeping, and turn-down service are also available.

Amenities and Facilities

Checked-in guests have full access to Somerset Millenium Makati's amazing list of amenities. This includes an on-site fitness center, lounge, outdoor swimming pool, and self-service launderette. Within the property, guests could also enjoy dining options such as Abuela's Restaurant and Ikkyu-An Japanese Restaurant. Other services such as a barber shop, transport service, concierge, and a spa are also available.

Every booking at Somerset Millennium Makati comes with complimentary breakfast at Abuela's Restaurant. They have a mini buffet with salads, different kinds of cheese, breads, cereals, soups, and some main dishes. Also included in the daily breakfast is a set meal of your choice at their ala carte breakfast menu. Breakfast is served from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

During our 3-day stay, we had Beef Tapa, Nasi Lemak, Breakfast Steak, and Nasi Goreng. All of them are good. My favorites are the Nasi Lemak and the Breakfast Steak. Yummmm!

For lunch and dinner, Abuela's Restaurant is also a good place to dine. We got to try some of their best-sellers, such as Laksa, U.S. Tenderloin Steak, Mila's Roast Chicken, Green Tea Cheesecake for dessert, and fresh fruit shakes for our drinks. The U.S. Tenderloin Steak is definitely a must-try! I could still remember how good it tastes. I would go back to Abuela's just for the steak!

Overall, we had a comfortable and memorable stay at Somerset Millennium Makati. Awesome location, well-organized and clean guestroom, amazing city view, warm and sincerely accommodating staff, and an array of amenities to enjoy. What else can I ask for? We truly enjoyed our stay and I'm giving it my 2 thumbs up!
