My First Cherry Blossoms Experience
Not yet in full bloom, but I am so happy and delighted to see some beautiful trees in different parks in Tokyo during our Japan trip last week.
So, if you’re traveling to Tokyo this week or next week, you can see these beautiful trees in some places around the city such as the Yoyogi Park, Ueno Park, and other places in Tokyo. If you cannot visit Japan on the forecast dates of the cherry blossoms' flowering and blooming dates, no need to worry because you can see and experience some of these trees as early as now.
These photos were taken last March 5, 2018 at Yoyogi Park. To get there, just take the train to Harajuku station and walk for about 10 minutes to the park. Upon entering the park, walk towards the right side of the park where you will find these trees.
While walking towards our accommodation in Taito, we saw this small park where there are also some cherry blossoms. Sorry I didn't get the name of the park. Hehehe!
Also, if you visit Ueno Park, you'll get to see these lovely trees. To get there, take the train to Ueno JR station (Yamanote Line) and walk to the park. When inside the park, just walk towards the left side until you see the beautiful trees blossoming with pink flowers. They are truly an amazing sight to behold!
I am so happy to see these lovely trees. Based on what I saw and on my research, these are cherry trees. But whether it's Cherry, Peach, or Plum blossoms, they are truly so beautiful!
