HOTEL REVIEW: Hotel Veronica in Roxas City, Capiz

Looking for nice hotels in Roxas City?

Located within the bustling business district of Pueblo de Panay, Hotel Veronica offers an ideal temporary home while visiting Roxas City. It is just a stone’s throw away from Robinsons Place Roxas, as well as a short distance to or from other commercial and business establishments in the city. Offering modern and luxurious amenities and hotel facilities, it is an ideal hotel to stay in when visiting Roxas City.

During our recent trip to Roxas City, we were invited to check out and review Hotel Veronica. And I'm glad we did!

Upon arrival at the hotel, we were warmly welcomed by their lovely staff and greeted us with sweet smiles. As we enter the lobby, I was instantly impressed with its modern and clean interiors. It is well-lit and spacious with couches where guests could sit while waiting for check-in or check-out.

Checking-in is fast and efficient. After about 5 minutes, the room's key cards were handed to us.

Premium Deluxe Suite

Our room is huge, and equipped with all the essential amenities needed for a comfortable stay. It is an impressive Premium Deluxe Suite designed for business and leisure travelers. It has 2 queen-size beds coupled with perfectly fixed white sheets, fluffy pillows and fresh clean comforters that compliment the comfortable beds. They were joined to one side by a bed table with a telephone, wall sockets and light switches.

Our room features modern and classy interiors with an array of amenities for guests' comfort and convenience. Other room amenities include an en suite toilet and bath, individually-controlled air-conditioning unit, an LCD television set with cable channels, NDD/IDD telephone, a huge mirror, cabinets, a small breakfast nook/working desk, a mini bar with coffee/tea-making facilities, and a mini ref with complimentary bottled water.

The toilet and bath is also spacious, clean, and well-lit. It has a huge sink, clean water closet with bidet spray, and an enclosed shower area with hot and cold water feature. Complete toiletries (such as shampoo, bath soap and dental care kits) and bathroom amenities such as a hair dryer were also provided. The body and hand towels all smell fresh! I was impressed! For me, it is essential to have a bathroom that is clean and well-organized. Hotel Veronica did not disappoint; from the sink with lovely mirror to the water closet, to the shower area, they are all clean.

Internet Connection

Complimentary WIFI internet connection is available anywhere in the hotel. Connection is fast, stable and reliable. For someone who always needs to be online, this is really an awesome treat!

Swimming Pool

One of the nicest features of Hotel Veronica is their lovely outdoor swimming pool located the the hotel's roof top. This is the perfect place to chill and have a good swim while enjoying your stay. Scattered around the pool are lounges, chairs and tables catering to the guests' needs for a relaxing and comfortable stay. It also a good spot to see the city and to enjoy the sunset.

Complimentary Breakfast at Festa

Hotel Veronica also has an in-house restaurant called Festa which serves an array of Filipino cuisines as well as familiar comfort food and international dishes. This is also where the complimentary breakfast is served from 7:00 am to 10:00 am daily.

Festa is also popular among local patrons for its indoor and al fresco dining where one could really relish every meal at the restaurant. It's also a good place to unwind after a day of exploring the city because they also have an acoustic band playing nightly from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., providing a nice atmosphere to diners.

They have function rooms for small gatherings and events, laundry service, airport pick-up service, gift/souvenir shop, luggage storage, safety deposit box, a business center, among many others that will assure guests comfort during their stay. Overall, we had a memorable stay at Hotel Veronica. It is definitely the perfect place of stay for travelers - whether on business or leisure trips - seeking charm, comfort, and convenience in Roxas City. I highly recommend it for you to stay in when visiting "the Seafood Capital of the Philippines!"
