DAY 2: Star Cruises SuperStar Virgo Cruise from Manila to Japan and Taiwan

We woke up early on our 2nd day on board Star Cruises SuperStar Virgo. It's a long day ahead, and we have a lot of activities lined up.

The first thing we did is to have breakfast at The Pavilion, which is a Chinese Restaurant located at the SuperStar Virgo's deck 8. The Pavilion is one of the inclusive restaurants included in the cruise package where you could have your breakfast for free. The breakfast that day is composed of several dimsum and a buffet spread with different Chinese dishes, breads, and salads.

After our breakfast, we went back to our cabin to prepare for our next activity which is the Galley Tour. I've done this tour before at Star Cruises SuperStar Gemini, that is why I'm so excited when I learned that it is part of our itinerary.

The Galley Tour will give you the chance to tour around the ship's huge kitchen. It also gives you an insight on how food were prepared under stringent conditions and standards they follow.

After the Galley tour, we proceeded to another tour which is the Ship Tour. Assisted by one of the crew, we went to the different parts of the ship, see facilities, and amenities that guests could enjoy while on board SuperStar Virgo. Indeed the ship is so huge!

SuperStar Virgo is a 13-storey cruise ship that is equipped with 935 cabins and that includes sea view cabins and balcony suites. Aside from that, you'll get entertained with its amenities on board. SuperStar Virgo offers a wide variety of dining experience including Chinese, Japanese, and other international cuisines. It also has an alfresco bar if you want to hang out and chill with your friends and family. SuperStar Virgo also offers shopping and entertainment choices. It has foot reflexology salon and spa if you want to relax and pamper yourself. It also has steam and sauna rooms and a hairdressing salon to complete your pampering time.

If you love shopping, you can enjoy a whole new shopping experience at the duty-free shops or buy souvenirs at small shops in the cruise ship. It also has a gym for passengers who don't like to miss their regular work out or if you just want to burn that fats you ate at the buffet restaurants while on board. You'll never get bored while on board because they offer a two-level theatre if you like to bring your kids for entertainment. There's a children activity center where you can leave your children if you are busy and can't look after your kids. A karaoke room that is perfect for barkada hangout. There’s a mini-golf course if you like to kill boredom and a 100-meter mega water slide and a swimming pool for awesome and memorable family bonding experience.

In the afternoon, we joined a Maki Making Class held in one of the ship's restaurants. It was conducted by one of their chefs who taught us the step-by-steps procedures on how to make a California Maki from scratch. It's my first time to make a Maki and it was indeed so much fun!

They also have different classes such as Zumba, Basic Japanese Class, Art Classes for kids, and many more! It's a great activity for everyone and a nice bonding experience for the whole family.

At night, we watched the "Love Around the World" show held at the Zodiac Theater. The show was filled with a lot of dance numbers, and some acrobatic acts that will surely amaze you. It is truly a world-class performance I should say. Another must-see show you should not miss when on board SuperStar Virgo!

We ended the night with a foam party held at the Ship Beat. We partied to the beat and sound of one of the Philippines' top club DJ, Patty Tiu of Deuce who made sure that the guests will surely enjoy the night.
