Last April 2018, we shared to you that there are plans to implement new airport terminal assignments for several local and international airlines as reported PTV Facebook Page.
Just today, in an advisory posted at the official Facebook page of the Department of Transportation - Philippines, "The Department of Transportation wishes to advise the public that reports circulating online and via traditional media on supposed new airline assignments at the NAIA are NOT YET FINAL.
Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) General Manager Ed Monreal confirms that new assignments have been discussed with the airlines, but no concrete decision has been made yet, in view of the many options available for consideration.
An announcement will be made once all options have been studied, bearing in mind comfort, convenience, and safety of our passengers."
As I have previously advised, always verify with your airline or check the terminal assignment written on your plane tickets before going to the airport. We still need to wait for further announcement from the DOTr with regards to the finality of the new airline assignments at NAIA. Please be guided accordingly to avoid any inconvenience on your flights.
