BUDGET HOTELS IN ALABANG: Hop Inn Hotel Alabang Review

Being from the Cavite, Alabang has always been part of my growing up years. I remember when I was younger, we frequently go to Alabang for shopping in one of its many shopping malls, or dine out, and meet some friends. Alabang is special to me and it has always been one of my favorite places in Metro Manila. Recently, I'm back in Alabang for a much-needed staycation as we were invited to check out the newly-opened Hop Inn Hotel Alabang.

Hop Inn Hotel takes pride in its unbeatable offering of high quality, comfortable stay at value-for-money room rates. A member of a Thai chain of budget hotels, Hop Inn Hotel Alabang is the newest and fourth Hop Inn Hotel branch in Metro Manila. Owned by Thailand's The Erawan Group PLC, Hop Inn Alabang is located at the heart of Madrigal Business Park, which is a premier business and lifestyle hub of Alabang.

As one of the few budget hotels in Alabang, Hop Inn boasts of 168 standard and family rooms that are ideal for business and leisure travelers looking for decent, quality, and affordable accommodations in the area. Hop Inn Hotel Alabang, with its distinctive bright white and blue façade, is just a short walk away from the biggest shopping, dining, and entertainment spots such as the Molito Lifestyle Center and Alabang Town Center, and right next to Alabang’s towering commercial establishments and business districts.

Staying in a budget hotel doesn't mean you have to compromise comfort, safety, and convenience. That's what Hop Inn Hotels offer. Perfect for budget-conscious business and leisure travelers, every room comes with essential amenities needed for a comfortable stay without breaking your wallet.

Upon arrival at the hotel, we were hospitably welcomed by their lovely and friendly staff and greeted us with warm smiles. The hotel lobby is spacious and well lit. It is neat and organized with a lot of sitting areas for guests to lounge while waiting for check-in or check-out. Since we already have a reservation, checking-in was fast and efficient. After about 5 minutes, we were checked-in and the key cards to our room were handed to us.

For security, access to rooms is limited only to hotel guests. When taking the elevator, you need to tap your key card to your desired floor as it can only access the floor where your room is located. This security feature assures every guest that no non-hotel guests would just be loitering anywhere inside the hotel's premises. To feel safe and sound any time of the day is one of the important factors I consider when staying in a hotel. Hop Inn Hotel Alabang gave me that secured feel that I am looking for.

Standard Double Room

For the first 2 nights, we stayed at the Standard Double Room which can comfortably fit 2 adults. It is clean, uncluttered and has modern furnishings. It is equipped with basic room amenities such as an individually-controlled and silent air-conditioning unit, an en suite toilet and bath, complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi internet connection, flat screen cable TV with premium channels, a spacious workstation, a clothes hanging area, and an in-room safe.

It has a queen size bed complemented with high-quality and clean white sheets, thick comforters, and fluffy pillows. The bed is soft and comfy, which makes you forget that you're staying in a budget hotel. I quickly tried it and my back loves it. Very comfortable!

As I sneaked into the toilet and bath, I was impressed! Being a budget hotel, I didn't expect a toilet and bath as spacious as this. It has a separate shower area with hot & cold shower and excellent water pressure, a sink with a mirror, and a clean water closet with bidet spray. Basic toiletries such as 2-in-1 shampoo and bath gel, tissue paper, hair dryer, and clean towels were also provided.

Family Room

One of the distinct features of Hop Inn Hotel Alabang is their Family Room which we got to try on our 3rd night in Alabang. Families and group of friends will surely be delighted in their spacious and well-appointed Family Rooms which comes with two comfy queen-sized beds, a spacious sofa with coffee table, a workstation, flat screen television set with cable channels, clothes hanging area, huge mirror, a spacious toilet and bath, and a mini fridge with complimentary bottled water. These Family Rooms are ideal for weekend and holiday staycations for four.

Function Rooms

Hop Inn Hotel Alabang also features modern function rooms complete with audio visual equipment. These are available and ideal for quick meetings, seminars, and banquets; catering to Alabang and nearby metropolitan centers’ large corporate market.

Food Service

As a budget hotel, breakfast is not included in the room rate. But no need to worry, as it is located right in the heart of the city, restaurants, fast food chains, and convenience stores abound the area. You can also call your favorite fast food chain and have your food delivered right into your room. A 7-Eleven Convenience Store is also opening soon at the hotel's ground floor, so getting hungry any time of the day will not be problem.

Car Parking

Hop Inn Alabang has ample parking spaces available for checked-in guests on a first come, first served basis. It's secured, and free for guests as part of the hotel amenities.

Truth is, there is a shortage of decent budget hotels in Alabang, and I am so happy that Hop Inn Hotels opened a branch in Alabang. Finally, there's now a family-friendly budget hotel that we can stay at when planning to explore or have a memorable staycation on this side of Metro Manila.

Overall, we had a peaceful, safe and relaxing stay at Hop Inn Hotel Alabang! The staff are pleasant, friendly, and very accommodating. The rooms are clean and well-organized, which I like so much! I highly recommend it for you to stay at whether for your business or leisure travels in Alabang. I'm giving it my 2 thumbs up!
