Heading to Boracay soon?
Boracay Island is the perfect island getaway in the Philippines. With its world-famous powdery white sand beach, crystal clear blue waters, stunning sunset, and palm-fringed kilometers of well-loved beaches, Boracay is definitely a must-visit paradise in the Philippines.
Awarded multiple times as one of the "Best Islands in the World," without a doubt, Boracay is the top tourist destination for local tourists and foreign travelers visiting the Philippines. First-rate beaches, amazing sunset, lovely hotels and resorts, wide array of exciting activities, and the list goes on and on. Boracay definitely has it all to offer to its visitors which made it a top favorite destination among tourists and visitors wanting to experience a perfect island getaway.
Recently, we visited Boracay for a much-needed “off-the-grid holiday” away from the city. It was 3 days of pure bliss, relaxation, and unplugged vacation, which is one thing we’ve wanted to do and haven't done for quite a long time.
Our temporary home on the island is the charming The Blue Veranda Suites at Boracay. Located along Station 2, it’s one of the nicest hotels we’ve stayed at in Boracay. Even if it’s not directly at the beachfront, it’s just about 10 steps away from the white, fine, and powdery sand of Boracay’s white beach. Best of all, since it is located at Station 2, its location is convenient for exploring the attractions and to experience the activities in Boracay.
Upon arrival at the resort, we were warmly welcomed by Ate Mercy and assisted us with our bags. As we entered the lobby, I was instantly impressed at The Blue Veranda Suites’ Santorini-inspired and lovely reception area with a lot of sitting area and exudes an island-feel ambiance.
We then proceeded to the front-desk manned by the resort manger Dimple, who also greeted us with a warm smile and quickly arranged our booking. Since we already have a reservation, checking-in was fast and quick. It only took about 5 minutes, and the key to our room was handed to us.
Deluxe Room
Our deluxe room is spacious, feels airy, clean, and impeccably-designed with guests' comfort in mind. It is highlighted by 2 double beds joined together by a small bed table. The comfy beds are complemented with clean white sheets, fluffy pillows and plush comforters. I quickly tried it and felt how comfortable it is.
It also equipped with the essential room amenities needed for a comfortable stay. It has an LCD television set with cable channels, silent and individually-operated air-conditioning unit, safety deposit box, mirror, an en suite toilet and bath, clothes hanging rack witn hangers, and luggage racks. The room is organized, well-kept, and smells fresh – which I really love!
Aside from these amenities, complimentary drinking water, free-flowing brewed coffee, and free WIFI internet connection were also provided for guests’ comfort and convenience.
As I sneaked into the toilet and bath, I was impressed! It is spacious, clean, and well lit! It has a shower area with hot & cold shower feature, a sink with a mirror and a clean water closet with bidet spray. Toiletries such as shampoo, conditioner, bath soap, and bath gel were all provided. The hot and cold shower is quite good and has excellent water pressure. Clean and soft bath towels were also provided. Everything we need are here and I couldn't ask for more.
Family Rooms
The Blue Veranda Suites is a small hotel with only 7 guest rooms. Aside from the deluxe room, they also have family rooms that could comfortably fit five persons. Also features the same room amenities; the family room is ideal for small groups, barkadas, and families wanting to sleep together in one room.
Families and group of friends will surely be delighted in their spacious and well-appointed family room which comes with one double bed, and a bunk bed.
Right outside the guest rooms is a lovely veranda where we spent most of our time just hanging around, eating, and enjoying a good cup of coffee. It’s a good place to relax, while reading a book and enjoying the cool breeze of the air.
Complimentary Breakfast
Every booking comes with a complimentary breakfast where you could choose from their wide selection of set breakfast meals of Filipino and continental breakfast. It is served at the veranda from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Or you may inform them what time you want to have your breakfast.
Highly-commendable staff
The hospitality and genuinely accommodating people of Boracay are also one of its assets that make many tourists and visitors visit it year after year. Adding up to The Blue Veranda Suites' allure is their staff's excellent and personalized service. They are very helpful, warm, and accommodating. They also address guests by their names and never fail to smile and greet everyone. When we needed help, they are always ready to assist us with our needs. I believe, their staff is one of the key assets of the hotel. Highly-commendable!
