Looking for budget hotels in Clark/Angeles City, Pampanga?

Whenever my friends would ask me for budget hotels in Clark/Angeles City area, I would always recommend Red Planet Angeles City. Located along Don Juico Avenue near SM City Clark, Red Planet Angeles City is a 165-room budget hotel offering no frills accommodation to the delight of value-for-money travelers visiting Angeles City or transiting via Clark International Airport in Pampanga. It is one of my favorite budget hotels in Angeles City, as it is located near the city's business, commercial and entertainment districts.

We've stayed here few times in the past, so I am already quite familiar with what to expect. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were hospitably welcomed by the hotel security staff and greeted us with a warm smile. We then proceeded to the 2nd floor where the lobby and the reception area are located.

I love that the lobby is spacious and has a lots of seating areas where guests could lounge while checking-in or checking-out. It is well lit and has huge glass windows which allows natural light to come in. The hotel staff welcomed and gladly assisted us with our booking. Checking-in was fast and efficient. The check-in staff were very quick in arranging our reservation. After only about 5 minutes, we were given our room's card keys and were ushered to the elevator. The service is really fast and highly commendable.

For security, elevator access is limited only to hotel guests. You need to tap your key card to your desired floor when taking the elevator as it can only access the floor where your room is located. I love this security feature because it assures every guest that no non-hotel guests would just be loitering anywhere inside the premises. To feel safe and sound any time of the day are important factors I consider when staying in a hotel.

Our room is a double room located at the 5th floor. I love the room's clean interiors and the basic amenities it offers. Their plush yet affordable accommodation is evident in their rooms which are clean, uncluttered and features modern furnishings. It is characterized with shades of white, red, and earth tone colors which create a relaxing and calming ambiance needed for a good and comfortable sleep.

It is furnished with a very comfortable queen-sized bed, complemented with top-quality linens, pillows and comforters. Other room essentials include a flat screen television set with cable channels, in-room safe, individually-controlled air-conditioning unit, huge mirror, hair dryer, clothes hanging area with hangers, a ceiling fan and a foldable side desk.

For a budget hotel, I love that the en suite toilet and bath is spacious, clean and well-organized. It has a nice sink with mirror, clean water closet with bidet spray and a separate shower area with hot and cold rain-shower feature and excellent water pressure. Clean towels and basic toiletries such as liquid hand soap and 3-in-1 shampoo, conditioner and body soap were also provided.

FOOD SERVICES

As a budget hotel, breakfast is not included in the room rate. But no need to worry, as it is located right in the heart of the city, restaurants, fast food chains and convenience stores abound the area. You can also call your favorite fast food chain and your food delivered right into your room. There's also a restaurant located at the ground floor and a 7-Eleven Convenience Store is just a 2-minute walk from the hotel, so getting hungry any time of the day is not problem.

INTERNET CONNECTION

Nowadays, being connected to the internet is quite important. Complimentary WIFI internet connection is available anywhere in the hotel. Connection is fast and reliable, even inside the room. At the lobby, there are also some computer sets that you could use to access the internet for free.

FREE PARKING SPACE

Red Planet Angeles City has ample parking space at the ground floor, outside the hotel. It is available for checked-in guests on a first come, first served basis. So, if you're traveling with your car, parking won't be a problem.

Overall, we had a memorable, safe and relaxing stay at Red Planet Angeles City! The staff are nice and very accommodating. The rooms are clean and well-organized, which I like so much!
