ZEN ROOMS SELAH PODS HOTELS IN PASAY REVIEW

Dubbed as “The Travel City,” Pasay City is home to many lovely hotels. As it is very near the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) which is a major gateway for travelers coming to Manila, the city offers a wide array of accommodations to choose from. Depending on your needs, there are luxury and budget hotels, inns, lodges and hostels for you to choose from.

One of the nicest and affordable hotels I recently stayed at is Zen Rooms Selah Pods Hotel. Conveniently located along FB Harrison in Pasay City, its prime location is located just 10-15 minutes away to the World Trade Center, Mall of Asia Complex, and the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP). It is also near business, shopping (Cartimar!) and entertainment establishments. Because of its central location, food chains, restaurants, banks, LRT and Bus Stations, supermarket, and other commercial and business entertainment are just a few meters away.

Upon arrival at the hotel, I was quite impressed by its modern and trendy interiors. The lobby is spacious, with high ceiling, and accentuated with nice furnishings. There's also a sitting area on both sides where guests could lounge while waiting to check-in or check-out.

We were warmly welcomed and hospitably assisted by the hotel staff with our booking. Checking-in was fast. It only took about 5 minutes and the key to our room was handed to us.

Our room is a lovely deluxe double room equipped with all of the much-needed essentials for a comfortable stay. It is compact, with a very nice layout. It has huge windows which lets natural light in, and en suite toilet and bath, a small breakfast nook, television set, a and a kitchenette.

Other essential amenities inside the room include a safety deposit box, clothes hanging area, free WIFI internet connection, mini refrigerator, and a coffee & tea making equipment with complimentary bottled water replenished daily.

It is highlighted by a queen size bed complemented with clean white sheets, blankets and fluffy pillows. I quickly tried it and it feels very comfy!

The toilet and bath is small, but it is clean and well-lit. It has a clean water closet with bidet spray, and a shower with hot and cold shower feature. The sink is located outside which makes it more convenient to use if you’re sharing the room with someone.

Basic toiletries such as shampoo with conditioner, bath soap, dental care kit, tissue paper, and clean bath towels were also provided.

Located at the 8th floor is the common area where guests could lounge anytime. I love the different furniture here made from recycled materials as well as the wall arts. This place is very relaxing and is really IG-worthy!

BUDGET HOTELS IN PASAY MANILA PHILIPPINES

The complimentary breakfast that comes with our booking is served at the 8th floor. The breakfast buffet is filled with a good selection of dishes, soup, breads, fruits and desserts perfect to start our day. It is available from 6:00 to 10:00 am daily.

At the 11th floor is the roof deck where the hotel’s restaurant and swimming pool are located. This is where we spent most of our time just hanging around, enjoying the overlooking view of the city, and trying out the many dishes they serve at the restaurant.

Overall, we had an amazing and memorable stay at Zen Rooms Selah Pods Hotel. The location is convenient, the room is lovely, the staff are friendly and accommodating. If you're looking for a budget hotel near World Trade Center or Mall of Asia Complex, I highly recommend Zen Rooms Selah Pods!
