I visited Dubai last year and try to explore as much as I can. Dubai is no doubt a great place to visit. Many tourists from all over the world come to this place. There are lots of places to visit such as Desert Safari Dubai, Burj Khalifa, Dubai mall, etc. Before my visit, I did not try to research. There are many things about it that I learned during my visits. In this article, I am going to share these things.

It’s Huge

The airport in this city is situated in the northern area. The city itself is enormous and huge. You need to travel great distances from one place to another. One of the tallest buildings in the world is Burj Khalifa and Dubai Mall. The roads in this city are very safe for driving. There is a lot of traffic and it is possible to stick in traffic jams for a long time. You can say that traffic can get crazy in this country. If the distance is short, then I will recommend you to walk than hiring a taxi. The metro system in this city is affordable and efficient.

Expensive Alcohol

Finding a bar in this city is not easy like in Europe or the USA. UAE is a Muslim country; hence many restaurants and bars do not serve it. But you can find alcohol if you want a drink. You just need to put some effort. Some private clubs and hotels serve alcohol, but you cannot drink it in public places.

Moreover, the prices are high and you must keep this in mind. All the alcohol is imported and there are huge taxes. Moreover, high-end resorts and hotels offers it. It means you can expect to pay 12USD for a glass of wine or a beer. If it is an important part of your trip then you need to keep in mind while making your budget.

Many Great Things to Do

If you want to explore the whole city, then you need to take some time. This is not a type of city that you can explore in two or three days. There are lots of things to do such you can enjoy an upscale dining experience with Dhow Cruise Dubai.

Dubai is a multicultural place because 90% of the population is from other countries. Moreover, there are millions of tourists from all over the world come to visit this great city. The people are very welcoming here and you can enjoy a lot of cultural activities here. The food is also very delicious here.
