Best known for its world-class beaches and amazing sunset, Boracay Island is definitely a must-visit when traveling the Philippines. Blessed with a long stretch of powdery white sand beach and crystal clear waters, it is internationally-recognized as one of the "world’s best islands and beaches". It offers a lot of exciting activities, thrilling adventures, and of course a wide array of hotels and resorts to stay in while enjoying your time on the island.
If you’re planning a getaway to Boracay, one of the hotels you may consider is The Ferra Premier by JG or simply Ferra Hotel Boracay. Located at Sitio Bulabog, Balabag, Boracay Island, it is around 2-3 minutes walk from Bulabog Beach and around 10-minutes walk from White Beach Boracay. With its convenient location, the hotel offers easy access to the city's must-see destinations.
Upon arrival at the hotel, welcome drinks and cold towels were given to us. I was impressed with its spacious and very “homey” reception area with comfy couches where guests could lounge while checking-in or checkin-out. I also like its lovely interiors, high ceiling the the huge windows which let natural light in.
Checking-in was fast and efficient. It only took around 5 minutes and the keycards to our room were handed to us.
Our room is a lovely and spacious One-Bedroom Suite (see room rates) that features a variety of comforts that will surely please its most discerning guest. It has a living area with a huge sofa, television set and a work desk.
Other essential amenities inside the room include an air-conditioning unit, cabinet, safety deposit box, telephone, and a mini bar with refrigerator and coffee and tea-making equipments. Complimentary bottled water that are replenished daily are also available. Fast WiFi internet connection is also available inside the room. I love it!
The bedroom is highlighted by a queen-size bed complimented with clean white sheets, fluffy pillows and soft duvet. It also has bed side tables on both sides, a television set with cable channels, and an air-conditioning unit.
The toilet and bath is also quite spacious, well-lit and organized. It has a walk-in shower area with hot and cold shower feature, a clean water closet with bidet spray, and a sink with vanity mirror.
Essential toiletries and bathroom amenities are also provided. Such as shampoo with conditioner, bath soap, dental care and vanity kits and hair dryer. Clean and soft bath and face towels were also provided. What else I ask for?
The complimentary breakfast that comes with every booking at Ferra Hotel Boracay is served daily from 06:00 am to 10:00 am at their in-house restaurant called Brick and Basil located at the ground floor (read reviews here). It is buffet-style breakfast with mouthwatering selection of Filipino, Western and Continental dishes to cater to its local and foreign guests.
Ferra Hotel Boracay also boasts of amazing hotel facilities which includes an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant, and a roof-deck bar. Guests of all ages will surely have a good time at the hotel’s roofdeck where you could enjoy a very nice view of the surroundings. Here, you could catch some kite surfers enjoying the strong winds of Bulabog Beach or you could just enjoy Boracay's sunset while lounging at the day beds or swimming in their outdoor swimming pool.
You shouldn't miss visiting the Ferra Hotel's roof deck especially during sunset and at night where you could also have a sumptuous dinner. We got to try some of their best-sellers such as the Beef Kebab, Shrimp and Garlic Pasta, Brick Oven Chicken, Butcher’s Choice Pizza, Kinilaw na Tuna, Mango Pomelo Salad, Crispy Pata, Chopsuey and Binakol na Manok. My favorites are the super yummy Butcher’s Choice Pizza, Beef Kebab, and Binakol na Manok.
This is where we spent most of our time during our stay. We enjoyed some drinks, eat, have a good swim, lounge on the day beds, watched the sunset and just enjoy every moment of our stay.
