Traveling to Siargao? Here are some sample Siargao Itineraries that you could follow for your next trip to one of the Philippines' best islands and top surfing destinations!
Indeed, Siargao Island has gone a long way from being just a quiet surfing town to one of the Philippines' top tourist destinations. To visit Siargao is one of the items you will always see on the "bucket lists" of every local or foreign tourist traveling the Philippines.
Why visit Siargao? For many years, Siargao is known for as the "Surfing Capital of the Philippines." If you're into surfing, you'll certainly have a good time surfing in Siargao as it boasts of the best waves in the country that is known to many surfers all over the world. But more to that, there are so many awesome things to do in Siargao that non-surfers could enjoy. It is a "haven" for adventure-seekers and to those who love spending lots of time on idyllic islands and beaches, lagoons, natural pools, and so many beautiful scenery and amazing natural wonders.
Just a quick plane ride from Metro Manila or Cebu, this tropical island paradise is certainly a must-visit for anyone visiting the Philippines. With its massive popularity among local and foreign tourists and with many activities it offers, Conde Nast Traveler recently named Siargao as "one of the best holiday destinations for 2020." A well-deserved recognition, I must say.
