Buhay Forest in Cavite's newest eco-tourism destination. It features a hiking trail with amazing views, lush greenery, Instagram-worthy photo spots, a camping area, and many more! Located in the upland area of Cavite Province, many tourists and visitors come here to experience its cool climate, nature, and breataking views from the summit. This 10-hectare forest park property atop the Magallanes highlands is an awesome destination near Metro Manila where you could to commune with nature with your family and friends, amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
Visiting Buhay Forest is definitely one of the best things to do in Cavite. It offers easy climbing and treking to its summit where visitors will be greeted with amazing views of nature. The pathway to the summit is compoaed of 426 steps surrounded by tall tress and lush foliage. Walking through the lush forest, you could definitely feel the cool weather and enjoy fresh air.
The best time to visit is in the morning, so you'll have enough time to explore, enjoy the place and take a lot of photos. Be sure to keep yourself hydrated by bring a bottle of water or energy drink before you start your trekking. Also, make to to take it slow, have some rest along the way and enjoy the sorroundings.
At the summit, you will surely enjoy the views! You may see here Mount Gumuhong Bundok in Nasugbu, Batangas, Mt. Marami, Mount Palay-palay National Park and Pico de Loro in Maragondon, Cavite; as well as Mount Ulila, Mount Ipus and Mouny Kaytalang. There's also a bahay kubo, a watch tower, some benches where you could rest, picnic tables, and lovely photo spots to take iG-worthy photos.

Reminders and Things to know:
- Opening hours is from 05:00 am to 08:00 pm, daily.
- Admission free is 50 pesos per person.
- Guests below 15 years old and 65 years old and above are not allowed per AITF guidelines.
- Parking area is available for free.
- Restrooms, picnic tables, and camping area are also available.
- Bringing of food and drinks is allowed.
- There are also some sari-sari stores and food kiosks in the area.
- They have camping areas. But overnight stays are not allowed yet.
- Wearing of face mask and face shield is mandatory.
- Always practice social distancing.
