1. Antipolo Cathedral Church
I believe, the very first time I went to Rizal Province is on a trip to Antipolo Church. A popular pilgrimage site, it is a National Shrine dedicated to Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage or Nuestra Señora de la Paz y Buen Viaje. A large number of catholic devotees and pilgrims visit the Antipolo Church every year, especially during holy week. Also the month of May is when most of the pilgrims visit this church which is considered as the Pilgrimage Season. It commences with the Alay Lakad from Quiapo Church from April 30 until the end of the month of May.
HOW TO GET TO ANTIPOLO CHURCH?
From EDSA-Shaw or Araneta City in Cubao, take a jeepney, UV Express Van or FX to Antipolo City and alight at Antipolo Church. If you're bringing a private car, just use Waze or Google Map for the directions.2. Hinulugang Taktak
"Tayo na sa Antipolo...Do you remember this song? Whenever I hear this song, you automatically think of Hinulugang Taktak Falls. Designated as a national park by virtue of Republic Act No. 6964 in 1990, this very popular waterfalls is one of the Antipolo tourist spots frequented by tourists and can found in Brgy. Dela Paz Antipolo City. Also called Hinulugang Taktak Nature and Adventure Park , this 70-ft waterfalls is definitely one of the iconic landmarks of Antipolo.

Pinto Art Museum (pintô means door in Filipino), is one of Rizal Province's most regarded museums you shouldn’t miss when visiting Antipolo City. Located at #1 Sierra Madre Street, Grand Heights Subdivision in Barangay San Roque in Antipolo, it showcases huge and well-curated collections of modern paintings, sculptures and art installations. Founded in 2010, it is an "art haven" in the mountains of Antipolo. The museum was founded on the principle that art plays a diplomatic role in bridging distinctive nationalities, worldviews, and communities. It is owned by a neurologist and art collector, Dr. Joven Cuanang and is currently run by Silingan Foundation of Arts, Culture, and Ecology.

9. Tanay Church
Saint Ildefonsus of Toledo Parish Church commonly known as the Tanay Church, is a Roman Catholic church located in the town of Tanay, Rizal Province. This old church's construction started in 1773 and was completed after ten years in 1783. Located in the heart of the town proper, this church is one of Jubilee Churches in the Philippines. It was declared as one of the country's National Cultural Treasures by the National Commission for Culture and the Arts of the Philippines.
10. Mt. Daraitan
Daraitan is an ecotourism destination in Tanay and is one of my favorites in the province of Rizal. Mt. Daraitan is an ideal destination for nature-lovers and frequented by both seasoned and budding adventurers. Exploring Mt. Daraitan, you'll also get to visit the Tinapak River, one of the country's cleanest, free-flowing rivers surrounded by large marble rocks. You could also enjoy camping, river crossing and be one with nature!
Activities to enjoy in Daraitan includes camping, river trekking, rock climbing, swimming, spelunking, among many others. Daraitan is a fascinating place that offers many things: river, mountains, caves, rock formations, and a lot more!

Boasts white marbled rocks and pristine water, Tinipak River is a must-visit when climbing Mt. Daraitan. A hidden gem but has now become one of the most popular places to visit in Tanay, Rizal. Be sure to enjoy swimming is the cool and clear waters of the river after an exhausting hike of Mt. Daraitan. Definitely, it is piece of heaven at the heart of Sierra Madre mountain range. A trip you will never forget!
12. Daranak Falls
Located in the municipality of Tanay, Daranak Falls is one of the most popular waterfalls in Rizal province. Nestled at the foot of the Tanay mountains, this 14-meter high waterfall with deep catch basin is a favorite destination among local tourists, especially during summer season. A nice place to visit for family or barkada outings, it has some picnic tables and sheds where you could lounge while enjoying your day at the falls.

13. Batlag Falls
At the top of Daranak is its sister falls, the Batlag Falls. You need to trek for about 10-15 minutes from Daranak Falls to reach this majestic waterfalls set in a dense forest. It is less crowded than Daranak, probably because one has to exert effort climbing it before you could enjoy its beauty.

It is a popular restaurant in Angono because of its bizarre array of exotic dishes like ginataang uok, soup no. 5, rose petal tempura, nilasing na palaka, kamaru, bibingkang abnoy, bayawak and more.

From EDSA-Shaw, take a jeepney, UV Express van or FX to Binangonan, Rizal. Tell the driver to drop you off at the corner of Doña Justa Subdivision. From there, it’s just walking distance to the restaurant.19. Mt. Tagapo Hike on Talim Island
Located on Talim Island in Binangonan, Rizal, Mt. Tagapo is an easy climb ideal for beginners and new hikers. Climbing its summit takes only around 1.5 to 2 hours. At the summit, there is a huge camping site where you could pitch your tent and enjoy overnight camping.

Located east of Metro Manila or just 30 minutes away from Ortigas Pasig, Casa Santa Museum inside Jardin de Marimar is a museum of more than 3,700 items with Christmas and Santa Claus themes and motifs from different countries around the world. Casa Santa Museum is a great place to educate the kids about Christmas traditions and cultures. The Museum houses different sections such as the Toy Factory, Santa’s Bedroom, the Balay Belen and the Grinch’s room. It's an awesome Christmas destination near Metro Manila to visit with the whole family!

Known for its beautiful limestone formation and picturesque views of Sierra Madre and Rizal province, Mt. Hapunang Banoi is a popular hiking destination in Rodriguez, Rizal. At a height of 517 masl, it neighbors with Mts. Pamitinan which you may also climb if you're looking for a more challenging climb.

22. Nagpatong Rock Day Hike in Rizal

26. Pililla Wind Farm
Located in the small barangay of Halayhayin in Pililla, Rizal, the Pililia Wind Farm is the newest addition to the growing list of "Instagram-worthy tourist spots" in the province. It is composed of 27 wind turbine generators grouped into three clusters. Sitting on top of sloping hills, it offers overlooking views of the beautiful plains of Rizal and Laguna de Bay.

Discovered in 1965, the Angono-Binangonan Petroglyphs are petroglyphs carved into a rock wall in the boundary of Angono and Binangonan, Rizal. It consists of 127 human and animal figures engraved on the rockwall and are believed to be "the oldest known artworks in the Philippines", - probably carved during the late Neolithic, or before 2000 BC. It was discovered in 1965 by National Artist, Carlos "Botong" Francisco during a field trip with a group of boy scouts. In 1973, the National Museum of the Philippines declared the Angono Petroglyphs a "National Cultural Treasure".

Another favorite destination among picnickers and day trippers, Palo Alto Falls is located in Brgy. Pinugay, Baras, Rizal. Situated inside the 200-hectare Palo Alto Leisure and Residential Estates being developed by the Sta. Lucia Land Inc., it is a refreshing natural attraction where you could enjoy swimming on the water cascading from the height of 60 feet to the huge cemented pool. The beautifully landscaped waterfalls area also has cottages, picnic tables and grilling areas that visitors and guests could use while enjoying the waterfalls.

If you're looking for an amazing adventure with nature, why not visit Mount Purro Nature Reserve? Tucked in the foothills of Sierra Madre Mountain Range, it is your next sweet escape away from the busy city life. You can enjoy a day dour at Mount Purro for as low as ₱763 pesos per person! Another popular pilgrimage site in the province of Rizal is Regina Rosarii Institute for Contemplation in Asia, or simply Regina Rica in Sampaloc, Tanay. It is a scenic 13.5 hectares pilgrim complex with a 71-foot tall image of our Lady, Queen of the Holy Rosary. The statue was constructed in 2009 and designed by the artist-sculptor Jose Barcena Jr. Many devotees and tourists visit Regina Rica to medidate and have some quiet time with God and nature. Daily Masses are held in the chapel under the huge statue of the Virgin Mary.

When you reach Sampaloc, Tanay market, take a tricycle to Regina RICA in Sitio Aguho Street. It will bring you inside Regina RICA.31. Mt. Binacayan Day Hike in Rizal
- Mt. Binacayan is known for its stunning limestone formations with magnificent views of Sierra Madre and Rizal province from its peak.
- Experience something new with its minor bouldering parts which makes this destination challenging for some beginners.
- Catch the magnificent sea of clouds as the sun rises over the town in the morning.
- Swim in the river that flows through and in between Mt. Binacayan and Mt. Pamitinan to end the day.

32. Fresno Agro Forestry and Eco Tourist Campsite
Located at Sitio Maysawa Brgy. Laiban in Tanay, Rizal, Fresno Agro Forestry and Eco Tourist Campsite is also known as Mt. Kulis or "Bahay ni Cardo" in the TV series "FPJ's Ang Probinsyano" on ABS-CBN. Things to do here includes camping, stargazing, spider web adventure, hanging bridge, Noah's Ark, and the most popular is seeing the sea of clouds.
You can also climb the summit of Mt. Kulis (620 masl) and Mt. Sambong (629 masl) when you visit this place.
