Cavite is well-known for Tagaytay City - its prime tourist destination. But there are also a lot of interesting sites to visit in Cavite aside from Tagaytay. In this Cavite Travel Guide Blog, I will share to you some of the best places to visit and things to do in Cavite, tourist spots and attractions to help you plan your Cavite trip!
30 Cavite Tourist Spots, Places to Visit and Things to Do this 2024
1. Corregidor Island
Location: Cavite CityCorregidor Island can be reached via a one hour and 15 minute ferry ride from Manila. It is considered as one of the most historic islands in the country that played an important role during the liberation of the Philippines in World War II. Strategically located at the mouth of Manila Bay, it served as one of the harbor defenses of Manila Bay during the Second World War. Also called as "Fort Mills" during the American era, it is a protected area under the jurisdiction of Cavite City and is one of the most popular day tour destinations near Metro Manila.
A must-see tourist spot in Cavite, this is a great place to learn on some of the major events that heppened during World War II. There are so many things that you can do in Corregidor. Although a day trip is enough to see most of Corregidor's top attractions, if you decide to stay for a night, they also have several accommodations on the island where you could stay at.

2. Boracay de Cavite (Katungkulan Beach Resort)
Location: Ternate, CaviteBoracay de Cavite (as most people would call it) is one of the most popular tourist spots in Cavite. It is a small beach cove located inside Gregorio Lim Marine Base in Calumpang Ternate, Cavite. Officially named Katungkulan Beach Resort, it is one of the nicest beaches near Manila that I've been to. Featuring a beach that has gray-ish sand (not white, though in photos it would look like white to off-white) that is so fine and soft to the feet. One of the most striking features of Boracay de Cavite is the towering stone wall on one side of the cove perfect for your "selfie" and "cam-whoring" moments. The water is not turquoise blue, but it's clean. Corregidor Island and the Mariveles mountain range in Bataan are also visible from the cove.
