Coron Palawan Travel Requirements for Tourists via Busuanga Airport

Traveling to Coron, Palawan soon? Here are the latest Coron travel requirements, entry protocols, and travel guidelines for tourists and visitors traveling to Palawan!


The Municipality of Coron in Busuanga, Palawan is currently under Alert Level 2 quarantine classification from January 1-15, 2022. Point-to-point and bubble tourism is allowed for fully-vaccinated tourists (domestic and foreign) coming from Metro Manila, NCR Plus and other local government units (LGUs) outside Palawan. Below are the Coron travel requirements and entry protocols you need to follow.

These travel guidelines apply to tourists and visitors traveling to Coron.


Who are allowed to enter Coron

  • All FULLY VACCINATED domestic tourists and foreigners (particularly those already staying in the Philippines before the start of the pandemic) coming from the NCR Plus Areas or from other LGUs outside Palawan Province.
  • Minors accompanied by fully vaccinated parents, legal guardians, elder siblings are allowed subject to compliance with the local entry requirement guidelines of the LGU.
  • Fully vaccinated individuals are those who are on their 15th day after receiving their respective 2nd dose of their vaccines, such as but not limited to the following: Moderna, Pfizer, Sinovac, Astra Zeneca, and Sputnik V. And likewise those individuals who have received their respective singe dose vaccines, such as but not limited to Johnson and Johnson, two (2) weeks before the day of travel.

Coron (Busuanga) Travel Requirements for Tourists


Currently, only Point-to-Point and Bubble Tourism in Coron is allowed for fully-vaccinated individuals.


  • Vaccination Card. Only fully vaccinated tourists are allowed in the Municipality of Coron. An individual is considered fully vaccinated if he/she has completed the required number of doses and it’s the 15th day since the last required dose.   • Negative RT-PCR (swab) test result from a DOH-accredited laboratory OR negative Saliva RT-PCR test result from Philippine Red Cross. Test must be done within 72 hours before the flight. Click here to know where to get Affordable RT-PCR Test from DOH-Accredited clinics.
  • Registration to S-PaSS and approved Travel Coordination Permit (TCP)
  • Confirmed hotel, tour or diving booking/itinerary.

Guidelines for Tourists

  • Mandatory checking of travel requirements at the Tourism Info Desk inside the airport.
  • Submit luggage/s for disinfection upon arrival at the entry points.
  • All tourists are required to pay the Environmental Fee of P200.00 at the Tourist One Stop Shop area located inside Coron Airport or in any LGU assigned entry points.
  • Must use resort owned or rented transport vehicles in case of land transfer from the airport on a 50% capacity.
  • Must stay within the resort at all times.
  • Are to observe minimum health standards and follow existing laws, ordinances and protocols.
  • All expenses such as but not limited to medical, hotel, rebooking of tickets borne out of the additional health protocols or in case of COVID-19, shall be on the account of the tourist. This is applicable when:
    • Tourist manifest symptoms or test positive for COVID-19
    • Tourist was exposed to co-tourist
    • Tourist was exposed to local
  • Tourists that have been tested positive with COVID-19 will be immediately quarantine inside the designated hotel isolation room or will be referred to the nearest health care facility, if needed, until he/she has fully recovered.

Coron Travel Requirements for APOR, LSI, Residents and ROF


These travel requirements apply to Authorized Persons Outside Residence (APOR), Locally Stranded Individuals (LSI), Returning Residents, Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROF).


  • Negative RT-PCR (swab) test result from a DOH-accredited laboratory OR negative Saliva RT-PCR test result from Philippine Red Cross. Test must be done within forty-eight (48) hours before the flight. Click here to know where to get Affordable RT-PCR Test from DOH-Accredited clinics.
  • Certificate of Coordination / Acceptance Letter from EOC Coron.
  • Registration to S-PaSS and approved Travel Coordination Permit (TCP).
  • Registration to StaySafe.ph. Please save a digital or printed copy of the QR code.
  • Valid ID.
  • Certificate of Quarantine from the Bureau of Quarantine (for ROFs only).
