1. Bank Transfer from GCash to a Bank Account
This is what I usually do when I want to withdraw money from my GCash account. The bank transfer service in GCash is easy to use and your money is transferred instantly to your bank account. Thanks to InstaPay which facilitates this bank transfer service. Just make sure that your GCash account is fully verified for you to use the bank transfer service feature of GCash.
But before you do the transfer, you should know the account number, account name and the bank name where you intend to transfer money to.
STEP-BY-STEP GUIDE ON HOW TO TRANSFER MONEY FROM GCASH TO A BANK ACCOUNT
- Open your GCash App and login to your account.
- Tap "Bank Transfer".
- The next screen will show you the list of banks where you could transfer funds.
- Select the partner bank where you intend to transfer the money.
- If you want to see the full list of banks, tap "View All".
- Scroll to find your bank, or you may also search the bank name on the search bar above the screen.
- Enter the required details: Amount, Account Name and Account Number. You may also enter your email address where to send the receipt (optional). Then TAP "SEND MONEY".

IMPORTANT NOTES & REMINDERS:
- Based on my experience, bank transfer transaction from GCash to bank account is instant. This means that the money is received instantly by the receiving bank account.
- If you don't receive the money instantly, you may contact GCash using the chat option in the GCash App to inquire about the transaction. You may also submit a support ticket on the GCash App. Also, you may call the GCash Hotline number 2882 toll-free using Globe/TM mobile phone or 739-2882 from a landline or using other networks.
- Please note that GCash do not have any support channels on Messenger, Facebook, or other social media websites. Do not engage on any of these other than the official GCash Support on the app.
- The maximum amount that you can transfer is ₱50,000 per transaction.
- A convenience fee of ₱15 pesos will be deducted in your GCash account per transaction. So, make sure you have extra funds to do this transaction.

2. Cashing Out with GCash Mastercard
I guess, this is the easiest and most convenient way to cash out your money from your GCash account. You may request a GCash Mastercard via the official GCash website. When you have the card, you can easily cash out at any BancNet or MasterCard affiliated ATM using your GCash Mastercard.
It's like using a regular ATM Card. Just make sure that you know your PIN Code because you need it when using the ATMs. Bank withdrawal fee also applies. The fee depends on the bank where you withdraw money from. It ranges between ₱12 to ₱18 pesos per ATM withdrawal.
New to philipines and Gcash, my experience with cash out does not match gcash out marketing. Possible options and probable are not close! My expectations were to great for the reality i faced. Interestingly, small towns and communities (culasi antique)have been fare open to "cashout" thsn big cittis (cebu or iloilo). Go figure!
