Planning a trip to Boracay Island? Here are the latest Boracay travel requirements for vaccinated & unvaccinated tourists and visitors traveling to Boracay!
Is leisure travel to Boracay allowed? Good news adventuristas! One of the the "World's Best Islands", Boracay Island now welcomes tourists of all ages from GCQ and MGCQ areas, including Metro Manila / NCR. With so much to offer to any kind of traveler, Boracay is definitely a must-visit when traveling to the Philippines. As of March 1, 2022, Boracay and the province of Aklan is under Alert Level 1 until March 15, 2022. Boracay is open to local and foreign tourists for leisure and non-essential travels as long as you submit the travel requirements and follow the entry protocols set by the local government unit.
LATEST UPDATE: As of February 1, 2022, no more RT-PCR test requirement for fully-vaccinated travelers to Boracay, Aklan. See details below.
UPDATED BORACAY TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS for TOURISTS & VISITORS as of March 1, 2022
- All local and foreign tourists and travelers entering Boracay and the province of Aklan shall secure a Boracay QR code. Fill up OHDC Registration Form in www.touristboracay.com, under BORACAY and attach the following requirements:
- Proof of Identification with Philippine Residency or Passport for Foreigners/OFWs/OFs.
- Proof of Vaccination Status.
- FOR FULLY VACCINATED TRAVELERS: VaxCertPH with full vaccination status or locally-issued vaccination card, or WHO international certificate of vaccination issued abroad.
- FOR UNVACCINATED OR PARTIALLY-VACCINATED TRAVELERS: RT-PCR Negative Result Certificate (saliva, nasopharyngeal or oropharyngeal) with date of extraction within 72 hours to date of travel. Click here to know where to get Affordable RT-PCR Swab Test from DOH-acredited clinics.
- FOR TRAVELERS BELOW 12 YEARS OLD: Accomplish the Certificate of Undertaking Traveling with Minors template https://aklan.gov.ph under Tourism.
- A copy of confirmed booking slip/form from a DOT-Accredited Boracay Island accommodation establishment.
- Roundtrip flight/travel details. (Only Caticlan Airport can be used by those travelling via air.).

BORACAY TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS for TOURISTS & VISITORS (January 2022)
The Province of Aklan recently issued Executive Order 001 stating the protocols to be observed under the alert level system. Below are the latest Boracay travel requirements effective January 9, 2022.
- All tourists and travelers entering the province of Aklan shall secure a QR code. Fill up OHDC Registration Form in www.touristboracay.com, under BORACAY and attach the following requirements:

BORACAY TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS for TOURISTS & VISITORS (December 2021)
UPDATE: Starting November 16, 2021, fully-vaccinated individuals traveling to Boracay are no longer required to submit a negative RT-PCR test result. Instead, they just need to present their VaxCertPH digital certificate or vaccination card from their local governments bearing a QR code for verification purposes along with the other travel requirements upon arrival in Boracay.
- Accomplish the Online Health Declaration Form at www.touristboracay.com to request and get your Boracay Tourist QR code. Click here for the step-by-step process in getting your Boracay QR Code.
- For unvaccinated or partially-vaccinated individuals, submit a Negative RT-PCR test result - swab or saliva - (taken within 72 hours). Click here to know where to get Affordable RT-PCR Swab Test from DOH-acredited clinics.

- Philippine Government issued ID showing proof of residence in the Philippines.

BORACAY TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS for TOURISTS & VISITORS as of October 15, 2021
If you're traveling to Boracay, be sure to prepare the following documentary requirements.
- Negative RT-PCR test result (swab or saliva) with 72 hours validity for non-Aklanon tourists. Click here to know where to get Affordable RT-PCR Swab Test.
- Booking confirmation from a DOT-accredited accommodation establishment.
- Philippine Government issued ID showing proof of residence.
- Travel details (Mode of Travel: Air, Sea, Land; Place of Origin; Arrival Date; Flight/Bus/Plate No/Vessel Name).
- S-Pass Travel Coordination Permit (TCP) from https://s-pass.ph.
Accomplish the Online Health Declaration Card (OHDC) through www.touristboracay.com before traveling to Boracay.
- Choose Boracay (Domestic Tourist).
- Fill-out the required information.
- If processing is successful, a copy of OHDC with QR Code will be sent back through email. The QR Code will be scanned at the ports of entry.
