Accredited STAYCATION HOTELS IN METRO MANILA (NCR) for Leisure

In line with Malacañang Palace's announcement that Metro Manila or National Capital Region (NCR) will be placed under a more relaxed quarantine classification, the Department of Tourism annouces that staycation shall be allowed in certain hotels Metro Manila. These hotels may now start accepting guests for leisure purposes.

A total of 41 hotels in Metro Manila or National Capital Region (NCR) are now open to the public for staycation. Based on the latest IATF Guidelines, lower quarantine classification or alert level means that most business establishments, facilities, and services are allowed to open at varying degrees.

As of April 1, 2022, Metro Manila or NCR is under Alert Level 1 until April 15, 2022. Staycations shall be allowed at 100 percent operational capacity under Alert Level 3 from October 16 to 31, 2021. Under the amended guidelines, only DOT-accredited staycation hotels with Safety Seal certification will be allowed to accommodate staycation guests.

Individuals of all ages may check in for staycation. However, to ensure safety of all guests, only fully vaccinated guests shall be allowed to book their stay. Unvaccinated guests are required to present the results of a negative RT-PCR test taken not more than 48 hours before check-in.

Staycation Guidelines

• Staycation hotels are allowed to book staycation guests of up to 100 percent of their capacity.
• Only DOT-accredited staycation hotels with the Safety Seal certification will be allowed to accommodate guests.
• Individuals of ALL ages, except those coming from areas under Granular Lockdown, Alert Level 5, those coming from mandatory quarantine, and those unable to quarantine in their households, are permitted to go on staycation.
• Requirements include: Vaccination card for fully-vaccinated guests; or swab or saliva-based RT-PCR test conducted within 48 hours prior to check-in for unvaccinated guests. Please call or send an email to the hotel for the updated requirements.
• The LGU where the Staycation Hotel is located may still impose additional reasonable requirements for guests.
