Camiguin, dubbed as the "Island Born of Fire" is known for its lovely beaches, numerous volcanoes, amazing waterfalls, delicious lansones, and many more. Good news is, the province is open for tourists and leisure travelers! If you're planning to visit Camiguin, here are the important things to prepare, travel requirements and guidelines you need to know before traveling to Camiguin.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS

1. Only book through LGU-accredited tourist inns, hotels, resorts and homestays.
2. If you are making reservations through online booking portals such as Agoda, Expedia, Booking.com, AirBnB and the like, kindly check first if it is in our list.
3. If you are staying with a relative in the island, make sure you request them to secure a certification from the barangay & the LGU first as a proof of eligibility to host.
4. Tourists who intend to stay with a resident but are not family members/relative such as friends/acquaintances only are not allowed. You must book a tourist accommodation.

Camiguin Travel Requirements February 2022

Starting February 1, 2022, all fully vaccinated tourists coming to Camiguin will no longer be required to submit a negative RT-PCR test result.

However, tourists are strictly required to secure the following entry requirements:

1. Clean Camiguin QR & ID (available at www.cleancamiguinqr.com)
2. Confirmed booking in any of our LGU-accredited tourist accommodations. √ See the list of LGU-accredited hotels and resorts here!

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
1. Please upload your requirements on the HDF tab in the Clean Camiguin website.
2. Fully vaccinated means at least 14 days after receiving the 2nd dose of a double-dose vaccine or the first shot for a single-dose vaccine.

For returning residents/residents/ROFWs, please coordinate directly with your respective LGUs for your entry requirements. For APORs, please coordinate directly with your receiving LGU.

Camiguin Travel Procedures

1. Go to www.cleancamiguinqr.com.
2. Create an account and fill out a Health Declation Form.
3. Upload your proof of complete Covid-19 Vaccination (1 or 2 doses).

5. Upload proof of comfirmed booking from an LGU-accredited establishment or a clearance from the Municipal Health Officer, if staying in a private home. √ See the list of LGU-accredited hotels and resorts here!
6. Download your ID with QR Code and save on your phone or print it out.

Camiguin Travel Requirements as of November 15, 2021

Here are the updated travel requirements starting November 15, 2021 as posted by Camiguin Tourism Office on their Facebook Page.

• Camiguin accepts fully-vaccinated tourists only. No prior COVID-19 testing required.
• Fully-vaccinated tourists may bring their unvaccinated children below 12 years old and their partially or fully-vaccinated adolescent children aged 12-17 years old.
• Kindly check the requirements, guidelines and process before coming to Camiguin.

Camiguin Travel Requirements & Guidelines

According to Philippine Airlines' website, the following are the travel requirements and guidelines for travel and entry to Camiguin for Tourism, Leisure, and Recreation:

• Fully vaccinated – at least 14 days after receiving the final COVID-19 vaccine dose. RT-PCR test is not required for fully-vaccinated travelers starting November 15, 2021.
• Negative RT-PCR Test Result – 72 hours from swab if coming from NCR or Luzon; 48 hours from swab if coming from the Visayas or Mindanao. √ Click here to know where to get Affordable RT-PCR Test from DOH-Accredited clinics.
• If staying in a private home, the passenger will need an LGU clearance instead of a confirmed reservation. Ask the host to process the clearance and have them send a copy.
• Fully vaccinated parents may bring their unvaccinated minor children.
• Adult (18 years old and above) children must also be fully vaccinated.
• RT-PCR Test are not required for children five years old and below.
• Register and get the CleanCamiguin QR Code at www.cleancamiguinqr.com.

Notes:

• Travel requirements may change from time to time without prior notice. Please coordinate with the local government unit of your destination for the latest updates on travel requirements.
• An individual is considered fully-vaccinated if:
• Two (2) weeks or more have passed after receiving the second dose in a 2-dose series.
• Two (2) weeks or more have passed after receiving a single-dose vaccine.
• Visitors who will be staying for more than 5 days in Camiguin should undergo an antigen test on the fifth day.
• For other types of travelers such as APOR, LSI, ROF, Returning Residents and others, please coordinate with the local government unit of your destination for the latest travel requirements and entry protocols.

Travel Requirements for APOR (Authorized Persons Outside Residence)

• Registration and Health Declaration via CleanCamiguin. Prepare to upload the following documents and save a printed / digital copy of the QR code upon completion.
• Proof of complete COVID-19 Vaccination.
• Negative RT-PCR test result.
• Company ID / Certificate of Employment.
• Company ID / Certificate of Employment.
• Negative RT-PCR test result from a licensed testing facility. It should be taken within seventy-two (72) hours for guests coming from Luzon, and within forty-eight (48) hours for guests coming from Visayas or Mindanao. √ Click here to know where to get Affordable RT-PCR Test from DOH-Accredited clinics.
• Proof of full COVID-19 vaccination. It should be at least fourteen (14) days after receiving your final dose. Guests who are not fully vaccinated are NOT allowed to enter the Province of Camiguin.

Travel Requirements for LSI (Locally Stranded Individuals)

• Registration and Health Declaration via CleanCamiguin. Prepare to upload the following documents and save a printed / digital copy of the QR code upon completion.
  • Proof of complete COVID-19 Vaccination.
  • Negative RT-PCR test result.
  • Valid ID with residence address within the Province of Camiguin.
• Valid ID with residence address within the Province of Camiguin.
• Negative RT-PCR test result from a licensed testing facility.
