The Lana, Dubai, UAE
The Lana is the first Dorchester Collection hotel in the Middle East. It is located near the Marasi Pier in the Burj Khalifa area in Dubai. The 30-storey hotel building was designed by Foster + Partners and features impressive interiors by Parisian designers Dorothea Boissier and Patrick Gilles (Gilles & Boissier). Each of the 225 rooms has floor-to-ceiling windows that offer stunning views. But the most spectacular view is offered by the rooftop pool, which turns into an exciting lounge after sunset.
In addition to such a luxurious vacation, all you have to do is to rent a sport car in Dubai and go to see the iconic sights of the city. amp;Beyond Grumeti Serengeti River Lodge, Tanzania
amp;Beyond Grumeti Serengeti River Lodge, affected by floods in 2020, will be ready to greet guests again in early June 2022. The luxury resort is situated in the remote western part of the Serengeti region, Tanzania, on the banks of a tributary of the Grumeti River. Travelers are offered 10 cozy suites with private plunge pools. The villas are built with references to typical Maasai manyatta huts, and their interiors are decorated with traditional African kitenge fabrics. The common guest area is magnificent, with large terraces from which you can view sunsets across the river and wildlife drawn to the water at all hours of the day and night.
Villa Passalacqua, Lake Como, Italy
Villa Passalacqua is the world’s most majestic villa on Lake Como and is part of The Grand Hotel Tremezzo. During the entire 2021 season, it was closed for repairs, and will reopen in the summer of 2022. This historic estate, built in the 18th century, is located right on the lake. Among its advantages are a secret underground entrance, a number of spacious halls for relaxing day and night, spectacular interiors with carved ceilings and numerous art objects. Guests would have a good time soothing elevated water views, stroll through the amazing terraced gardens and visit the 200-year-old conservatory. Cultural connoisseurs will be grateful for the separate guesthouse Villa Bellini, with its picturesque music room, where Vincenzo Bellini wrote his 1831 opera La sonnambula.
Raffles Hotel, London, United Kingdom
Raffles London will be the brand's debut hotel in the city, scheduled to open in late 2022. In addition to the main hotel with 120 rooms and suites in the historic military building, there will be 85 first-class residences (The OWO Residences by Raffles) on Whitehall Street. The old building of the War Office, built in 1906 and now recognized as an architectural monument, has witnessed many historical events and hosted such prominent personalities as Ian Fleming and Winston Churchill. In just a few months, guests will have access to 11 different restaurants and bars, an immersive spa with pools, a 620-seat Grand Ballroom and a rooftop terrace with panoramic views of Buckingham Palace.
Santo Mauro, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Spain
This place is an 18th century villa where the Duke of Santo Mauro once lived and which today can be a starting point for exploring Madrid. The hotel is situated in the heart of the Chamberi area, famous for its numerous cultural attractions, and includes 49 rooms and 10 suites, as well as a green terrace in the garden and restaurants run by Chef Rafael Peña, also in charge of the menu at La Biblioteca and El Jardin.
The Ritz-Carlton, Jiuzhaigou, China
The Ritz-Carlton in Jiuzhaigou National Park, China is located at an altitude of more than 2,000 meters above sea level.
