The North Luzon Expressway or NLEX Corporation just announced that they will be implementing new toll rates for NLEX starting May 12, 2022.
The Toll Regulatory Board gave NLEX (operated by MPTC or Metro Pacific Tollway Corporation) the go signal to increase its toll by ₱2.00 in the open system and ₱0.34 per kilometer in the closed system. The NLEX Toll Fee hike will apply for all vehicle classes, and for both the closed and open sections of the NLEX as well as the SFEX Subic-Tipo segment.
With the implementation of the new NLEX toll fee matrix, if you're traveling within the open system from Balintawak to Marilao, Bulacan, additional ₱2.00 for Class 1 vehicles, ₱6.00 for Class 2 vehicles, and ₱8.00 for Class 3 vehicles will be implemented.
For motorists traveling end-to-end between Metro Manila and Mabalacat City will pay an additional ₱27.00 for Class 1, ₱69.00 for Class 2 and ₱82.00 for Class 3 vehicles. The NLEX closed system covers the portion between Bocaue, Bulacan and Sta. Ines, Mabalacat City, Pampanga including SFEX Subic-Tipo segment.
Below is the advisory from NLEX Corporation as posted in their Facebook Page.
The Toll Regulatory Board gave NLEX the go signal to increase its toll by P2.00 in the open system and P0.34 per kilometer in the closed system.
The adjustments, which followed regulatory procedures and underwent thorough review, were part of the approved periodic adjustments of NLEX due in 2016 and the completion of the new Subic Freeport Expressway (SFEX) in 2021.
