I can still remember during my very first trip to Cebu, we also visited and explored the province of Bohol. We took a ferry from Cebu Port and arrived at Tagbilaran Port after about 2 hours. We toured around Bohol for a few days and went back to Cebu after.

How to get to Bohol from Cebu?
From Cebu, you may travel to Bohol via OceanJet Ferry or SuperCat Ferry - two of the most popular ferry operators in Central Visayas. Offering a wide variety of departures daily, you can choose a departure time that perfectly fits your desired itinerary.
The ferry departs from Pier 1 of Cebu Pier Area and arrives at Tagbilaran Fast Craft Terminal in Tagbilaran Port, Tagbilaran City, Bohol. Travel time is around 2 hours and ferry fare rate is around PHP 800 pesos per person. See the complete ferry schedules and fare rates below.

Sample Cebu - Bohol Itinerary
- 05:00 AM - depart from your hotel in Cebu
- 06:00 AM - ferry transfer to Tagbilaran
- 08:20 AM - arrive at Tagbilaran Port (Don't forget to rent a Bohol Private Car that will tour you around)
- See famous Tarsiers
- Lunch at the Loboc river cruise
- Visit the famous Chocolate Hills
- Sightsee at Bilar man-made forest, Butterfly Sanctuary

If you wish to stay overnight in Bohol, you may add another day and stay in one of the finest beach resorts in Panglao Island. On your second day, you may enjoy the beaches in Bohol or explore the islands. Then return to Cebu in the afternoon.

What would helpful is some information on RoRo ferries should someone want to travel by motorcycle / car. There seems to be nowhere online you can get this information or anywhere to book. All the sites are set up for foot passengers only.
