Upon arrival at Caticlan Airport, we proceeded to the Island Star Express counter at the airport’s arrival hall and met their staff. They then checked our booking and gave us stickers. They then assisted us to our van that will bring us to Caticlan Jetty Port.
Having a booked transportation service waiting for you at the airport is quite hassle-free and comfortable because there is someone who will assist and guide you and help you with your luggage. This is super convenient for travelers with huge luggage, especially for groups and families traveling with small children and senior citizens. I also love that their van is clean and smells good. It was a smooth travel from the airport to the jetty port and just took around 7 to 10 minutes.
When we arrived at the Caticlan Jetty Port, staff of Island Star Express welcomed us and guided us to the waiting area.
Then the staff requested for our identification cards and hotel booking (we're staying at Patio Pacific Boracay) so they could register and verify our booking with the Boracay Tourist Information desk. If you haven’t paid for the environmental fee, terminal fee and boat fare, they will also do it for you. You don’t need to line up at the long queue just to buy tickets and pay for the fees. All you need to do is just wait at the waiting area and wait for the staff as they take care of everything you need to enter Boracay.
BORACAY TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Below are the latest Boracay Travel Requirements for tourists as of March 2023.
- Valid ID - any government-issued identification card or passport.
- Hotel Booking - proof of hotel or resort booking from any of the wide array of DOT-accredited hotels and resorts in Boracay.
- Boracay Tourist Registration Form - you may accomplish this upon arrival or you may do it online before your flight at this link. Only one person per group needs to accomplish this.
After about 8 minutes at the waiting area, the staff called us and assisted us inside the Caticlan Jetty Port. She then gave us our boat tickets and guided us until we boarded our boat. This is so convenient especially for Boracay first-timers because there is someone who will guide you every step of the way.
Boats are now more organized. They now have seat numbers, which I really like! Travel time from the jetty port to Boracay Island just took around 10-15 minutes.
Upon arrival on Boracay Island, another staff of Island Star Express welcomed us and guided us to our transportation to our hotel.
This is what I really love about booking an airport service. You will not get lost because there’s always someone who will assist you with the directions and help you with your luggage from the moment you arrive at the airport until you arrive at you hotel. How to Book a Boracay Airport Transfer?
- STEP 1: Visit the Island Star Express website at www.islandstarexpress.com using your phone or your laptop.
- STEP 2: Click or tap "MAKE A BOOKING".
- STEP 3: Choose from their wide array of airport transfer options. You can book one-way or round-trip transfers from Caticlan or Kalibo Airport. Child fare is also available.
- STEP 4: Select the number of passengers and click/tap "ADD TO CART". For a more convenient trip, you may also add and purchase the boat fare, terminal and environmental fees.
- STEP 5: Go to your cart and click/tap "PROCEED TO CHECKOUT".
